My name is Mohammed Ibrahim Ludwick (born Alexander Nikolai Ludwick). I was born in the United States and studied history, literary criticism, cultural studies, comparative religion, political theory, post-colonial theory, post-structural theory, economics, and political economy in the United States and Germany.
In the course of these studies, I researched the causes of social and economic problems affecting the world, and eventually realized that Islam is a political and economic system ideally suited to address these problems. Finally, I began to practice Islam in Ramadan of 1433.
Since then, my research has shifted toward understanding sharia and its implementation in the modern world. In 1438, I decided to migrate to the Muslim lands and have since lived in Egypt, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Arabian Peninsula.
